Town Elections

Town elections were held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM. One two year term position for Supervisor, Two four year term positions for Town Council, One four year term position for Town Clerk and One four year term position for Town Justice was voted on by Allegany voters.

The official town election results for Town Supervisor, Town Council Members (2), Town Clerk and Town Justice are as follows:

Town Supervisor - 2 year term (vote for one)

*John E. Hare, R - I - C - 840Votes
James L. Boser, D - C - 824 Votes

Town Council - 4-year term (vote for two)

*James C. Hitchcock,R – C – I - 958 Votes
*Robert A. Parker, R - I - C - 918 Votes
Michael C. Fortuna, D - 766 Votes
Kathleen Schaeper, D - 639 Votes

Town Clerk - 4-year Term (vote for one)

**Deryle L. Pinney, R – I - 921 Votes
Christina M. Golley, D - C 730 Votes

Town Justice - 4-year term (vote for one)

*David F. Porter, R – C – I - 1,195 Votes
Anne Marie Raymond D - 452 Votes

An asterisk (*) denotes incumbents (**) denotes currently serving as appointed, R is for Republican candidate, D is for Democratic candidate, C is for Conservative candidate and I is for Independence candidate.
