Town Election Results
Town elections were held on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009 in the Town of Allegany from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM. A Town Supervisor was elected to a two year term and Two Town Council Members, a Town Clerk and a Town Justice were elected to four year terms.
The town election results for Town Supervisor, Town Council Members (2), Town Clerk and Town Justice are as follows:
Town Supervisor - 2 year term (vote for one)
- *Patrick H. Eaton D, I - 769 Votes
- Robert J. Phillips R, C - 652 Votes
Town Council - 4 year term (vote for two)
- *James C. Hitchcock, R - 726 Votes
- John E. Hare, R, I, C - 720 Votes
- David A. O'Dell, D, I, C - 659 Votes
- *Joseph A. Wolf, D, WF - 547 Votes
Town Clerk - 4 Year term
- *Mary M. Peck, D, R - 1,359 Votes
Town Justice - 4 year term
- *David F. Porter, R, I, C - 1,164 Votes
An asterisk (*) denotes incumbents, R is for Republican Party candidate, D is for Democratic Party candidate, C is for Conservative Party candidate, I is for Independence Party candidate and WF is for Women Forward Party candidate.
