Town Election Results

Town elections were held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM. A new Town Supervisor was elected to a two year term, two new Councilman were elected to four year terms, a Superintendent of Highways was re-elected to a four year term and a Justice was re-elected to a four year term.

The town election results for Supervisor, Councilman, Superintendent of Highways and Justice are as follows:

Town Supervisor (2-year term - vote for one)

James C. Hitchcock, R – C – I - 1,105 Votes
Darla Busan, D - WF - 560 Votes

Town Councilman (4-year term - vote for two)

*Craig J. Maguire, R – C – I - 1,020 Votes
Andrew A. Cooper, R – C – I 955 Votes
Peggy Burke, D – WF - 649 Votes
Chistina Golley, D - 596 Votes

Town Superintendent of Highways (4-year term vote for one)

*John M. Moshier D – R – C – I - 1,715 Votes

Town Justice (4 year term - vote for one)

*Alan L. Spears, D - 1,715 Votes

Note: An asterisk (*) denotes incumbents, R stands for Republican Party, D is for Democratic Party, C is for Conservative Party, WF is for Working Families Party and I is for Independence Party.
